Welcome to the blog for this day: Thursday 27 August 2009

Observations for today:

I have been busy cutting out covers for the house reel. I have also been charged with sending them out to everyone who’s asking for one. Kevin, who designed the whole look, is worried that his perfect work will get creased in the post and not look as good as it could. We search for good ways of packaging that are also eco friendly.

This, alone, could be a full time job. One of the reels we are sending out is going to a man in Belgium called Balthazar who runs a hunting lodge. Could there be potential business there? Hmmm… Maybe he’s just a friend of the management. Continue reading →

New Blog Entry after trouble on Derren Brown shoot

Hello and apologies for the lack of “blog” entries. They said that I’d never keep it up and they were right.

I was going to blame it on Derren – last week we were shooting the man himself for his brand new show called The Events. I had a story ready about him having erased my mind and therefore all my blog ideas. It might have worked too, but Derren advised me that it would be wrong to lie, so I’m going with that. 4Creative Summer Party!

So we had the 4Creative Summer party on Thursday 23rd July and it was excellent fun. Who would have thought there was such a massive area at the back of that record shop on Poland Street.

The whole place was done up like a huge garden, with DJs in the shed and wheelbarrows full of beer. The atmosphere was brilliant and loads of people with vintage jeans and hard-to-find trainers came and had a ball. I spotted one guy with shoes so pointed they had corks on the end for safety.
