Hello and apologies for the lack of “blog” entries. They said that I’d never keep it up and they were right.

I was going to blame it on Derren – last week we were shooting the man himself for his brand new show called The Events. I had a story ready about him having erased my mind and therefore all my blog ideas. It might have worked too, but Derren advised me that it would be wrong to lie, so I’m going with that.

Director Phil Lind shot a spot for The Events which to be honest blew my mind out, even before Derren had started messing with it. It’ll be on telly soon and I still don’t understand how Derren did any of it, even though I was making cups of green tea for him throughout the day. Man that guy can drink green tea.

I helped out on the stills shoot also with Joseph the art director and a cool pair of photographers called Billy & Hells. They were all cool about me throwing ideas in and one of them (I think) might run. Fingers crossed!!!

There are a bunch of cool other things happening also. I discovered that the canteen does good fish and chips on a Friday. I have been doing a hundred mood boards for a semi-secret (although now not so secret) bit of work that the Leo and Emily are doing for Impulse. I saw newsreader Krishan Guru Murthy pulling up outside the building in a vintage Chevvy Impala with the hydraulic suspension. Fact.

The sun is shining here at the moment and all seems to be well. I am at the moment working on some questions to ask the legendary writer William Boyd for an up-coming interview for More4. I need to think of something clever, beyond Will you please sign my book? Any suggestions please?
